The Arcade Edition for Street Fighter V will be released soon and it includes the most complete version of the title along with a large roster of combatants to play as. This title includes the downloadable content updates not originally released with the base game such as the Cinematic Story Mode, Versus CPU mode and Season 1 and 2 characters. This AE version will be available as an update for base game owners to download for free and will be available as a whole physically and digitally for MSRP $39.99. With over 200 custom illustrations to unlock by completing six different story paths, players will have their hands full going through the tales of Street Fighter, II, Alpha, III, IV and V.
There will also be Second V-Triggers for each fighter which will change up gameplay strategies online, a Team Battle Mode that pits two local teams of up to five characters battling, an Extra Battle Mode where players complete special limited time challenges to obtain rewards, and a full Gallery to view unlocked Arcade Mode illustrations. Not only that, but Sakura (the first in Season 3 DLC) is available as of today with Sagat, Cody, Blanka and newcomers Falke and G to be released throughout the year. Remember, all DLC characters are earnable with in-game currency so no need to spend that real-life mullah!
Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition will be released for the PlayStation 4 and PC on January 19th, 2018.
