A gameplay trailer featuring Maxime René, lead developer behind Redlock Studio, demonstrates many of the different mechanics, environments, and settings for Shattered – Tale of the Forgotten King. Players will explore the world of Hypnos through 2.5D platforming whilst battling 3D-rendered monsters and bosses. The protagonist will come by Y’aak, the Whisperer, who guides the player through the lands and offers tidbits into its history. Shattered – Tale of the Forgotten King will be released for the PC in 2018 with plans to release for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4, as well, at an unknown date.
