XSEED Games has released new screenshots and a trailer for Fate/Extella: The Umbral Star, the newest action video game developed by Marvelous and a sequel to Fate/Extra. Not only that, but XSEED has announced a Noble Phantasm Edition that will include a 7.5” by 6.3” hardcover art book featuring over 100 pages of high-quality artwork, a pack of sixteen collectible 3” by 5” cards depicting each of the game’s Servants, and a 24” by 17” cloth poster, all housed in a custom box for $69.99 on PS4 and $59.99 on PSV. Standard edition will be $20 less, respectively.
Fate/Extella takes place on a moon called SE.RA.PH. where three factions battle against one another in a new war taking place after Fate/Extra‘s Holy Grail War. Players will take on the perspectives of Nero, Tamamo no Mae, and Attila as they fight in this war for the kingship over the other factions. Several characters and enemies from previous Fate games make an appearance in this title that will only contains English subtitle localization.
Fate/Extella: The Umbral Star will be released for the PlayStation 4 and Vita on November 10th, 2016 in Japan, November 11th in Europe and Australia, and early 2017 for North America.
