inXile Entertainment has announced work on their latest sequel to their party-based role-playing game, Wasteland 3. In this title where the players can team up to survive in a post-apocalyptic world, there will be a ton of new features that inXile is hoping to include that will make it even better than the 2014 predecessor. Their crowdfunding campaign on Fig has already accumulated over $1.5 million with over 7,500 backers with a goal of reaching $2.75 million.
Players will take the role of the sole survivor of Team November to explore the frozen lands of Colorado, searching for lost technology and buried secrets while battling psychopaths in deadly factions who’ve never encountered the Desert Rangers before. The game will include single- and multiplayer gameplay along with deep turn-based combat, vehicles, environmental dangers, quests, Ranger Bases, and a revamped action system.
Wasteland 3 will be released for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Microsoft Windows. No release date has been made yet as it is still crowdfunding but we will be sure to keep fans updated on more as it’s revealed.
