Bandai Namco and Level-5 show off a new trailer and some artwork on Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom, the sequel to Wrath of the White Witch. You follow Evan Pettywhisker Tildrum, the young ruler of Ding Dong Dell and the cat tribe as he teams with Roland, Tani, Batu, Lofty, and many others including Higgledies — magical creatures that aid as support in battles with both offensive and defensive skills. There are over 100 Higgledies to collect and combine together to form special powers so thinking strategically with them throughout the game is key to success in battles. There are two additional game modes to this whole story as Evan will need to build the kingdom of Evermore with shops, farms, barracks, and other facilities to increase economy and provisions to go on adventures and battle with equipment. The development team also includes former Studio Ghibli animator Yoshiyuki Momose and music composer Joe Hisaishi.
Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom is an incredibly special game crafted by some of the most talented individuals across video games, anime, and music. Its unique environments, charming story, and action-packed combat are sure to ignite the imaginations of gamers around the world.
