A new trailer for Kingdom Hearts III has finally dropped and it gives us a ton of new content to drool over including the reveal of two new worlds and some story. The two worlds include Tangled and, the main feature, Monster’s Inc.! We also catch a conversation between Sora and Marluxia, a previous enemy in Chain of Memories that Sora and co. can’t remember.
You’ll be able to work alongside Mike Wazowski and Sulley in the monster-themed world while Sora, Donald and Goofy adorn monster outfits to blend in. From the trailer and screenshots Sora will wield a Monster’s Inc.-themed Keyblade that incorporates machinery and childlike weapons into its transformations much like previous videos showed on the Olympus Keyblade. Looks like the Drive Forms also affect Sora’s monster form in this world as it appears to have a tinge of orange while incorporating the Keyblade into yoyos. In the Tangled world you’ll fight alongside Rapunzel and Flynn Rider against many Heartless as you’ll most likely take on her evil step-mother.
Kingdom Hearts III will be released for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 at a still unknown date sometime in 2018 (hopefully).
