ThroughLine Games has announced their entry into the adventure game genre, Forgotten Anne. In this 2D title, the enforcer Anne keeps order in the Forgotten Lands by dealing with Forgotlings, possessed items lost to time that ended up in this strange land and developed consciousness. Utilizing puzzle and platforming game mechanics, Forgotten Anne allows for running, jumping and climbing through levels with a seamless cinematic experience.
Anne is able to manipulate that Arca stone that helps her see and manipulate Anima energy in the environment and enemies. You’ll be able to control objects and creatures to help progress through levels as well as have special Dialogue options that may effect the story. ThroughLine Games is collaborating with Copenhagen Philharmonic Orchestra to bring a beautiful score to a game with gorgeous drawings and backgrounds to bring a hopefully breath-taking journey for players. Forgotten Anne will be released for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam sometime in Spring.
