Combating the Xbox One Games with Gold this month is the PlayStation Plus and its line-up of games for all of April including Drawn to Death, a new release, and Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime. These two games will be available for the PlayStation 4 and there’s also some PS+ games for PlayStation 3 and Vita (cross-buy). Check out the video below for more details on these two and also screenshots at the bottom of the article for a deeper look into the games.
Full lineup:
Drawn To Death, PS4
From the mind of David Jaffe and his studio The Bartlet Jones Supernatural Detective Agency, in conjunction with SIE San Diego Studio, this four-player arena brawler/shooter is drawn straight out of an angsty kid’s notebook. This game will be released on April 4th, 2017.
Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime, PS4
Developed and published by Asteroid Base, this platforming puzzler takes two lovers to different points in the universe with their ship that contains stations. Each station controls aspects of the ship’s systems such as weapons and shielding, forcing players to think on their feet as they need to control everything either alone or in tandem with a team consisting of two-four players. This game was released on February 9th, 2016.
Invizimals: the Lost Kingdom, PS3
Created by studios Novarama and Magenta Software, it was released together with Invizimals: The Alliance and offered cross-play compatibility. You can interact and capture a variety of creatures to play with in a platformer setting. This game was released October 30th, 2013 in PAL regions and September 30th in North America.
Alien Rage – Extended Edition, PS3
Alien Rage takes place on an asteroid which humans and an alien species known as Vorus were jointly mining for Promethium, a highly efficient source of energy. After the Vorus turn on the humans and wipe the miners out, Jack, the player character, is sent to the mining facility to kill the aliens and destroy the facility. This game was released on October 21st, 2013
10 Second Ninja X, PS Vita (cross-buy with PS4)
Originally released on PC, this console edition boasts a lot more great looking levels and more polished game-play. With only 10 seconds per map, you play as a ninja that needs to move as quick as possible in order to destroy the robots scattered in each area. This game was released on July 19th, 2016.
Curses ‘n Chaos, PS Vita (cross-buy on PS4)
Available for cross-buy, this 2D arena-brawler has waves of enemies spawn and attack you in a hoard that tests your survival skills as well as your quick thinking. This was definitely one of those harder games out there that spam you with a bunch of monsters but I’d highly recommend getting it for your PS4 or Vita as it’s pretty addicting. This game was released on August 18th, 2015.
