Ubisoft has recently released a new trailer promoting the launch for the biggest expansion to the open world racing title, The Crew. With The Crew: Wild Run, players will be able to not only drive standard racing cars during races, but also compete with a variety of motorcycles, monster trucks, and dragsters. Players will be called, in-game, to what is known as “The Summit” where they will pit their skills against one another.
Two Summit Qualifiers will pop up every week. After a full month of intense competition, the best participants will get access to the Monthly Summit Finale in order to battle to become king of the road and be rewarded with an exclusive new vehicle. Players will have a chance to challenge their friends in FreeDrive activities, allowing them to create their own race in The Crew’s gigantic open world playground. Speed and skill challenges as well as Stunt competitions will also be on schedule, with brand-new trials created exclusively to fit new vehicles’ specificities.
Those who already possess a copy of The Crew will be receiving a weighty update for the game including updated graphics, new lighting effects, redesigned areas for the wide variety of vehicles, and an added weather system. Not only that, but an updated free trial version of will be available for those who haven’t tried the game yet and will include: two hours of gameplay, access to the full prologue, playground exploration, Extreme Spec Trials participation (to help adjust to controls for the newer vehicles), and the ability to start the campaign either solo or co-op.
The Crew: Wild Run is now available for download for the Xbox One or PlayStation 4, and will be available in stores worldwide on November 19th, 2015.
