Koei Tecmo America has announced that Omega Force, the leading force behind Warriors titles, are creating a new game in the series that will take place in the world of the renowned manga/anime, Berserk. The title is sure to be one of the most gruesome and bloodiest of all Warriors games ever made, considering how dark the series is as a whole.
Berserk follows Guts, a swordsman who wields a giant black blade and battles demonic forces in the classic ‘one versus’ thousands’ gameplay style fans are used to for Warriors. Magic and transformations also have a large role in gameplay as a unique element to separate it from past titles and bring the dark, medieval European-themed world to life.
Berserk (Working Title) will be released for Steam, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita sometime in Fall 2016.
