Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age will be arriving later in the fall and contain a bunch of upgrades from its Japanese version. First of all, it’ll be localized with English voice actors to offer Western audiences a deeper immersion if they’re not familiar with the Japanese language. The story follows all-new characters in a beautifully detailed world that stands alone from previous stories in the Dragon Quest franchise.
With over 100 hours of content, there will be new upgrades and enhancements added including Draconian Quest, a hard mode that features more difficult challenges; overhauled menus and UI for more intuitive navigation and enhances graphics; a Camera Mode that allows players to view landscapes, character renders and monsters in detail during gameplay; and a new Dash function not previously in the original version to help improve character movement.
Those who pre-order the title on the PlayStation Store will also get “The Legend Reborn” theme as an instant reward along with in-game DLC items when the game launches.
