Sega has announced that they will be bringing their previous generation console title, Vanquish over to the PC for Steam later this month. The game is optimized for high-functioning computers including an unlocked frame-rate, 4k resolution support, extensive graphics options and full keyboard and mouse support. Then also remember that there are online computer stores where you can build your own PC, which means that you get the exact specification that you want so much better than an off-the-shelf option.

Pre-ordering Vanquish on Steam and other Sega approved retailers will give you the Digital Deluxe Edition that includes a 5-track soundtrack sampler, character and enemy avatars, art book and exclusive wallpapers. If you’ve already bought Bayonetta on Steam or intend to buy it before the 25th of May you will receive a 25% discount on the Vanquish Digital Deluxe Edition.

Vanquish was originally released for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 back in 2010 and featured a futuristic sci-fi setting with fast-paced and versatile movements in third-person. It was directed by Shinji Mikami, the creator of the Resident Evil series, where players would take control of Sam Gideon, a DARPA operative with a powerful exo-suit that assists him in maneuverability and speed whilst shooting and melee bashing scores of enemies in front of him.

It was great to see the positive response from our community to the Bayonetta PC launch last month, and we are pleased that we are in a position to be able to announce VANQUISH, another of our highly requested back catalogue titles. There’s more to come from SEGA in this space, so stay tuned for further announcements.

– John Clark, Senior Vice President of Commercial Publishing for SEGA Europe

Vanquish will be released for PC via Steam on May 25th, 2017.
