A large set of screenshots has been released for the upcoming PS Vita title, The Caligula Effect that was written by Persona series veteran Tadashi Satomi (Persona, Persona 2: Innocent Sin, Persona 2: Eternal Punishment).
The title centers around a made-up virtual world called Mobius that was created by a group of evil music producers called the Ostinato Musicians. Players will take control of the Go-Home Club, roguish youths who utilize the Imaginery Chain battle system to strategically take down enemies. Players can recruit over 500 NPCs into their party of four if they wish, making their own unique team that’ll definitely be different than the next person’s and uncover a deep backstory by completing various quests. The Vita game will be available for $39.99/€39.99/£29.99.
The Caligula Effect will be released for the PlayStation Vita on May 2nd, 2017 in North America and May 9th in Europe. It has already been out since June 23rd, 2016 in Japan.
