Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe announced on July 8th, 2016 the results for Spike Chunsoft’s One Piece: Burning Blood‘s characters’ vote. Within two weeks the community had the chance to vote for three new characters (from a roster of 17 famous One Piece characters, which can be viewed here) to be developed as downloadable content for the game. The three chosen characters that will be added are: Rob Lucci, Caesar Clown, and Monkey D. Garp. The elected characters will be developed into playable characters and released at a later date as DLC for fans to purchase.
Four days after the results of the community vote Bandai Namco Entertainment Europe announced their DLC from the new movie One Piece Gold and from the characters’ vote. Coming in early August 2016 the “Gold Movie Pack 1” will contain Gildo Tesoro as a playable character, 3 costumes from the movie for Monkey D. Luffy, Nami, and Nico Robin and 1 customized HUD. Coming early September 2016 the “Gold Movie Pack 2” will offer 3 costumes from the movie for Sabo, Akainu, and Koala as well as Rob Lucci as a playable character who was voted by fans. Coming December 2016 will be the final two playable characters voted by fans Monkey D. Garp and Caesar Clown.
