Square Enix recently announced Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age, a HD remaster of Final Fantasy XII coming to PlayStation 4 in 2017. The remaster is accompanied by a trailer below. Check it out.
Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age will feature the Zodiac Job System which was unavailable to the West previously and only exclusive to Japan. Alongside new remastered character models, cutscenes and environments, the game will include a re-recorded soundtrack in glorious 7.1 surround, shorter load times, an overlaid map, auto-save feature and PlayStation 4 trophy support. In addition, you will be able to switch between the new soundtrack and the old soundtrack at will during any point in the game.
Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age is slated for a 2017 release in Japan. Square Enix North America confirmed that there will be a Western release also for 2017.
