A new teaser trailer comes our way for the upcoming mech-title, Dual Gear, and the developers have also announced that the title will be arriving on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. We see some mechanical suits doing battle in the video below, but it’s obvious that the game still has a long way to go with textures missing in some parts and gameplay looking a little sluggish. It’s clear, however, that the team at Orbital Speed Studios is trying to give us an experience we won’t soon forget.
The gameplay resembles turn-based strategy games while incorporating typical Japanese-mech TBS-style elements. The player will be able to customize their mechs, pilot and squad along with being able to search levels for secret parts, weapons and more story. Dual Gear is powered by the Unreal Engine 4 but still has a lot of work to be put into it, the team at Orbital Speed Studio is looking for crowdfunds and will be starting a campaign on Indiegogo on January 25th, 2016. An early pre-alpha demo will be available for download, as well.
Dual Gear will be available for Windows, Mac, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 sometime this year.
